Description
At Doist, our mission is to empower people with simple yet powerful tools.
We're a multidisciplinary, fully-remote, team that’s passionate about creating products, like Todoist and Twist, that improve people’s lives. We thrive on innovating new solutions to old productivity challenges and we seek to rethink how productivity tools are made.
Our Core Values
They are few, but they are mighty. From creating processes to decision-making and recruiting, we build our four core values into nearly every single thing we do.
- Ambition. You aspire to put a dent in the universe. You set high standards for yourself and those around you. You solve issues that have a high impact on our customers and our company.
- Mastery. You care deeply about the quality of your work. You’re continuously learning and pushing yourself to the limits of your ability. As a champion of your craft, you are also a champion of your well-being – you work intensely, then disconnect completely.
- Independence. Others can trust that you’ll deliver on time. You keep your word and trust your teammates to do the same. You are proactive, take ownership, and remain accountable with little or no direction.
- Communication. Your communication is clear, concise, and engaging. You keep others in the loop and never go radio silent. You speak respectfully and foster warm relationships through your interactions. You’re culturally and socially aware and can appropriately navigate social situations.

Your Team & Role
We’re looking for a Social & Community Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Team. You’ll own how Todoist shows up across our social channels, in DMs and comments, through influencer and customer partnerships, and via an employee-generated content program.
This role isn’t just about managing Todoist’s social channels – it’s about amplifying an ecosystem of voices. You’ll help influencers, customers, and employees tell authentic stories about how Todoist fits into their real lives and work.
You’ll also create wonderful brand storytelling. You’ll plan, create, publish, and engage daily, then learn from the numbers and implement your findings. You’ll translate Todoist’s brand personality into content and conversations that feel trustworthy, human, and affirming, and you’ll do it for both individuals (B2C) and teams/SMBs (B2B).
We work async. You won’t be micromanaged, and you will be responsible for your own deliverables. You’ll be expected to set context, carve a plan, and keep momentum.
You’re the kind of person who shapes the plan, creates the assets, equips others to share their stories, and drives the work forward from concept to publish with steady, thoughtful execution.
What you’ll own
- Social programming: Monthly plans and reporting, a biweekly calendar, and daily publishing.
- Community engagement: Replies in comments and DMs with warmth, clarity, and brand tone; escalate product insights or issues to the right teams.
- Ecosystem Storytelling & Amplification: Build and activate an ecosystem of voices around Todoist; influencers, customers, employees, and partners. Your goal isn’t just to grow our owned channels, but to help the right people tell the right stories in their own voice, creating trust and reach that branded accounts alone can’t achieve.
- Influencer marketing: Scout, brief, and manage micro- and macro-creators; handle outreach, negotiation, coordination, and reporting. You see influencers not just as campaign partners but as co-storytellers who bring Todoist’s values to life through their own voice and communities.
- Employee content program: Help Doisters share smart, on-brand stories; create templates, light coaching, and guardrails. Treat every Doister as a potential storyteller, building light systems that make it easy for employees to share authentic, first-person stories about how we work.
- Analytics & iteration: Via monthly social media reporting, define channel goals, track performance, and recommend what to double down on vs. retire.
Requirements
You’re an experienced social media marketer who knows how to tell stories. You care deeply about building genuine relationships with audiences – not chasing algorithms. You balance creativity with strategy, craft with care, and know that the best brands are built through consistency and connection.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in social media or influencer marketing
- Can plan, create, and publish across multiple channels (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X).
- Know how to adapt a brand voice to different audiences and formats while staying authentic and on message.
- Excited and ready to be on camera to offer a real voice to our brand voice.
- Have experience managing influencer and creator partnerships – from scouting and outreach to negotiation and campaign delivery.
- Understand community engagement as a craft: thoughtful replies, human tone, and proactive participation.
- Feel confident reviewing analytics to identify what’s resonating and what needs to evolve.
- Work well asynchronously, communicating clearly and proactively.
- Are curious, creative, and not afraid to test new ideas.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in B2B SaaS, especially in PLG orgs
- Familiarity with employee advocacy or ambassador programs.
- Strong understanding of short-form video storytelling.
- Experience with Sprout Social for social management.
